Question for people who park underground – how often do you replace your battery? (11 อ่าน)

Just trying to gather some real data here because I'm confused about what's normal and what isn't. I've been parking in a basement for about a year and a half now. Before that I always parked outside or in an open shaded area. Back then I would replace my battery roughly every fourteen to sixteen months. Nothing great but nothing terrible either. Since moving to the basement, I've already replaced my battery twice. The first one lasted eleven months. The second one lasted ten months. I'm trying to figure out if this is just bad luck or if there's something about underground parking that's killing my batteries faster. I was reading an article online at https://stations.ae/why-car-batteries-fail-faster-dubai-basement-parking that talked about how basement humidity can cause terminal corrosion and how motion sensor lights can trigger small power drains from the car's computer. Honestly I had never considered any of that before. I always thought cooler temperatures were better for batteries. But now I'm wondering if I should start doing something different like disconnecting the battery if I'm leaving the car for a few days or maybe checking the terminals more often for that white powdery stuff. For those of you who have parked underground for years, how often do you actually replace your battery? Is every ten to twelve months normal for basement parking or is that a sign that something is wrong? Also, have any of you found a way to make your battery last longer while still parking underground? I don't have the option to park somewhere else so I need practical solutions that work with my situation. Would really appreciate any advice from people who have been dealing with this longer than me.
