Before that I always parked outside or in an open shaded area. Back then I would replace my battery roughly every fourteen to sixteen months. Nothing great but nothing terrible either. Since moving to the basement, I've already replaced my battery twice. The first one lasted eleven months. The second one lasted ten months. I'm trying to figure out if this is just bad luck or if there's something about underground parking that's killing my batteries faster. Honestly I had never considered any of that before. I always thought cooler temperatures were better for batteries. For those of you who have parked underground for years, how often do you actually replace your battery? Is every ten to twelve months normal for basement parking or is that a sign that something is wrong? Also, have any of you found a way to make your battery last longer while still parking underground?
