Wrong items keep going out to customers is my team just not paying attention? (8 อ่าน)

I run a small online store selling auto parts from a shared warehouse in Ras Al Khor, and lately I've been dealing with a really frustrating issue. At least twice a week, a customer receives the wrong item, or the quantity is off, or something is missing from their order entirely. I know my team is working hard, but I think the problem is that our storage and picking system is just chaotic. Boxes look similar, labels are handwritten and hard to read, and items get mixed up when we restock shelves. I've been trying to Find out how to minimize mistakes in orders , and a lot of what I'm reading suggests that organization at the container level makes a huge difference. If every product type has its own clearly marked, standardized container, then pickers are less likely to grab the wrong thing by accident. I found this website about plastic crates for logistics and storage in the UAE that showed how color coded crates can help workers quickly identify different product categories without even reading labels. I'm thinking of suggesting this to my business partner, but he's the type who thinks any new expense is unnecessary. For those of you who run small warehouses or fulfillment operations, what actually helped you reduce picking errors? Did better containers and labeling make a real difference, or is this more about training and supervision? I just want my customers to get what they actually ordered so I can stop apologizing and sending free replacements all the time.
